Sermon: Rev. Robert S. Jackson
Scripture: Matthew 2:7-11
Fourth Sunday in Advent / Christmas Eve
The four-week season of Advent sets the tone of our meditations as we prepare for the emergence of our Christ Consciousness at Christmas. The word Advent is derived from the Latin phrase ad venire, “to come to.” Metaphysically, Advent is the time for the coming of Christ Consciousness to every soul as they evolve. The message of Advent is to prepare.
